Those of you who have followed me for a while, know that when I was basically living on tumblr, I’d do impromptu poetry. Well, work and my new wonderful life don’t let me get on as much as I used to, but I decided that I missed my poetry. To make up for it, I’m now scheduling work meetings with poetry in the meeting request. Here’s a recent one…

The process was started
It is almost complete
I don’t want you to be cheated
Come pull up a seat

We may get to finish
Time will sure fly
That clock can be selfish
But we’ll eventually say bye

Definitely not my best work, but it brings back good memories of tumblr!

It’s been 24 hours since I’ve slept. I’ve been at work since 8pm last night and I’m still not sure when I’m going home.

There will be no sleep for me until late today when the kids go back to their dad’s and their friends all go back to their respective owners…I mean parents.

I’m beginning to flashback to my old insomnia days. If I start seeing swirly purple clouds and dancing pigs wearing top hats then I’ll know I’ve been successful

In the annual walk-a-thon, Lee jogs for 5 3/4 miles more than walks. If he traveled a total of 15 miles, how many miles did he walk?

How many of you either :

A. Still don’t know the answer
B. Took more than 5 minutes to figure it out

That’s 5th grade math y’all…

She said “huh?”, gave me a look of total shock and THEN she said “yes”

Either way I’m counting it as a win.

Howdy strangers. Don’t expect me to be here much. I got to work 20 minutes early and needed to pass the time.

Just wanted to let you all know that I miss some of you guys. I’d say I am upset about not having enough time to stay on here more, but my new life is amazing and hectic and I love every bit of it. The artist formally known as @facetious_one and I are doing great. She’s working as a SET Therapist and the kids are growing like weeds and hating school.

So there’s your quick status update. Take care of yourselves and for those close friends of mine, don’t think that I will ever forget that 2 year stretch when I basically lived out here.

Live life, love freely and never focus on the past.
